Emerald Publishing have released the winners of the 7th annual Emerald High Usage Awards,
listing the 20 global academic institutions that have received the highest number of eJournal
downloads throughout 2017.
The Emerald High Usage Awards celebrate the relationship between Emerald and each winning institution;
all of which have access to a growing collection of over 300 journals covering business and management
research, and including a wide range of other subject areas Emerald specializes in, including health
and social care; education; and engineering.
This year’s first place winner, still remaining in the top spot, is Universiti Teknologi MARA (Malaysia)
exceeding their previous winning totals and passing the 1 million downloads mark with 1,143,941 downloads
in 2017.
