Prof. Heri Hermansyah, Ph.D.Eng. is
the Director of Intellectual Property Management of the Ministry of Research
and Technology (RISTEKBRIN), Republic of Indonesia. From 2017-2020, he was the
Director of SMART City project of Universitas Indonesia. His academic career
started as faculty member of Universitas Indonesia, Head of Bioprocess
Engineering Laboratory, Research Group, and Program Study. He received his
professorship for Chemical Engineering. Prof. Heri received his Doctor in Philosophy
(Engineering) and Master of Engineering from Tohoku University, Japan.
Abby Tan Chee Hong
Vice President of Research
Universiti Brunei Darussalam
Abby obtained his undergraduate
degree (first class honours) in Mathematics at University of Manchester
Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) in 2002. Abby passed his Phd in
Mathematics in 2006 from Manchester University. Abby joined Universiti Brunei
Darussalam (UBD) in 2006. Abby has held several key administrative positions in
UBD. This includes being Director of International and Public Relations Office
(IPRO) from 2013 to 2014. From July 2014 to June 2016, Abby was the Director of
Global Relations Office. In both positions, Abby has made a significant
contribution to UBD thus significantly enhancing UBD’s international visibility.
In July 2016, Abby was appointed as Dean of the Faculty of Science (FOS).
